Top Five Podcasts You Need to Listen to Right Now!

I love a good podcast. There are so many to choose from – from politics to self-help, there's something for everyone. For me, though, I enjoy podcasts that are escapist, funny and relevant – here are 5 brilliant podcasts to get you through those rough Monday mornings at the office!

5 – This Is My Baby

This Is My Baby is a podcast that celebrates the achievements that aren't about starting a family or getting married. Those things aren't for everyone – and sometimes, the things we're proudest of get barely any reaction at all, which is where This Is My Baby comes in! Hosted by stand-up comedian and co-founder of the Queer Comedy Club, David Ian, and cabaret artist and content creator, Sarah Hester Ross, this is such a funny and endearing podcast full of special guests and absolutely hilarious moments.

4 – Drunk Women Solving Crime

True crime meets comedy in Drunk Women Solving Crime! Hosted by Hannah George and Taylor Glenn, the podcast welcomes guests ranging from comedians to true crime writers to test out their detective skills after a few drinks. You can expect laughter, cocktails and brilliant guests in a podcast that explores true crime stories! If you want a boozy, laugh out loud podcast which also deals with true and personal crime stories, you're sure to love Drunk Women Solving Crime.

3 – Help I Sexted My Boss

Modern life can be tricky, can't it? Maybe Help I Sexted My Boss can help! Hosted by unlikely friends, William Hanson, a posh etiquette expert, and Jordan North, a TV presenter who is the complete opposite, Help I Sexted My Boss helps you to find solutions to everyday problems and navigate the confusion and challenges of modern life. Funny, relatable and often slightly ridiculous, this is a truly entertaining podcast which is sure to make you laugh out loud!

2 - Sophieland with Sophie Hagen

Hosted by comedian Sophie Hagen, Sophieland is a laid-back and personal interview podcast with a simple premise – talk to nice people about nice things. Hilarious, intimate and completely disarming, Sophieland is a positive, relaxed podcast full of laugh out loud moments, brilliant guests and a genuine celebration of the small joys of everyday life. If you're looking to inject a little positivity into your listening habits, I can't recommend Sophieland enough.

1 – Welcome to Hell

This will come as no surprise to anyone who knows me, but Welcome to Hell absolutely deserves the top spot on this list. Hosted by comedians Daniel Foxx and Dane Buckley, Welcome to Hell is a comedy podcast which loves gossip, pop culture, and, more importantly, invites listeners to write in with their own confessions and grievances for infernal judgement and advice from Daniel and Dane, the Infernal Aunties themselves. Debuting straight into the top 10 comedy podcasts in the Apple and Spotify charts, you can expect lots of laughter, special guests and salacious gossip which is sure to keep you entertained. This is my favourite podcast hosted by two of the funniest comedians I have ever seen, and if you haven't listened yet, give it a go – I'm sure you'll absolutely love it!

So here are my top 5 podcasts you should listen to right now! These are the podcasts that get me through rough work days, that keep me company on long journeys on public transport and that I spend a slightly ridiculous amount of time talking about to my friends. If you haven't heard them before, I hope you love them! What are YOU listening to?
